The man who invented the first alternating current (AC) motor and developed AC generation and transmission technology.

- 1859 - Nikola Tesla is born
- 1870 - Tesla's Brush With Death. he contracted cholera. He was in hospital for close to one year, and he faced near-death circumstances.
- 1875 - Enrolls In College. He enrolled to a Polytechnic based on a military scholarship.
- 1880 - Moves To Prague To Study Philosophy.
- 1881 - Begins His Career As Chief Electrical Engineer.
- 1882 - Goes To Work For Edison.
- 1885 - Submits Some Of His First Patents.
- 1887 - Re-imagines The Electric Motor. Tesla came up with an induction motor that was operated by alternating current, a form of power that was becoming common in Europe and the USA.
- 1890 - Begins His Work On Wireless Power Transmission.
- 1891 - Patents The Tesla Coil.
- 1943 - Tesla's Death.
